Biosecurity

AsureQuality has a long history in biosecurity. The two company's that merged in 2007 (AgriQuality and ASURE) both had extensive experience in this area, and had both evolved out of MAF - a government agency with more than 100 years experience in defending New Zealand from exotic pests and disease.

Our standing army of biosecurity experts has an international reputation for its ability to manage large-scale biosecurity operations and are available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. We respond to livestock, horticultural, forestry, diary, meat, apiary, GMO and marine biosecurity emergencies and carry out routine biosecurity surveillance.

Our highly specialised plant pest and disease diagnostic service is fully accredited as a biosecurity diagnostic facility, providing plant pathology, entomology and nematology expertise to enable the rapid and accurate identification of suspected pests and diseases.
