Day to day, AsureQuality's capability includes more than 200 invasive pest specialists active in the field - eradicating vermin and weeds, implementing pest management strategies and Tb vector controls and wiping out commercial and domestic infestations.

Investment in Target Pest Enterprises

AsureQuality has agreed in principal to invest $1 milllion in Target Pest Enterprises - extending our biosecurity capabilities particularly at the local Government level. Negotiations are being finalised to secure a 45 percent shareholding of the Canterbury-based pest control compnay, currently wholly owned by Environment Canterbury (ECan).

The investment will help strengthen AsureQuality's existing biosecurity standing army with access to over 200 additional field staff, solid South Island operations, regional council links and technical strength in non-exotic pests. AsureQuality and Target Pest complement each other to provide enhanced biosecurity competencies, particularly in the South Island and in the time further afield. Target Pest Enterprises

AsureQuality will be represented on the Board of the reconstituted company. This is an exciting opportunity and will only strengthen AsureQuality's Australasian biosecurity capability.
