The LEAF Audit is a complete business and environmental health check for your farm.
Based on Integrated Farm Management (IFM) Principles
The LEAF Marque Standard is based on the principles of Integrated Farm Management (IFM), a whole farm policy which provides the basis for efficient and profitable production which is economically viable and environmentally responsible.
IFM integrates beneficial natural processes into modern farming practices using advanced technology. It aims to minimise environmental risks while conserving, enhancing and recreating that which is of environmental importance.

Register online as a LEAF member and complete the online assessment (LEAF audit)

| Step 2 : Audit request |
|
When you have completed the LEAF audit, nominate AsureQuality as your Certification Body, LEAF will send us your audit request.

| Step 3 : Registration with AsureQuality and audit booking |
|
AsureQuality will send you a registration form for you to complete and a LEAF auditor will contact you to make an appointment to conduct an on-site audit of your operation to ensure that every aspect of your operation complies with the LEAF Marque standard.

| Step 4 : On-site assessment / audit |
| An on-site audit of your operation will be carried out to ensure that every aspect of your operation complies with the LEAF Marque Standard. |
| Step 5 : Submission of audit findings |
| Following the on-site audit, the LEAF auditor will submit a formal report on the findings of the audit. The report will include (but may not be confined to) any non-conformance against the LEAF Marque standard that needs to be addressed. |
| Step 5 : Response to any audit findings / non-conformances |
| The LEAF auditor will agree with you on how to resolve any non-conformances and set the closing due date. |
| Step 6 : LEAF Certification Status issued |
| When all non-conformances are closed out, a LEAF certification status certificate will be issued covering the scope of your operation. |
| Annual review |
| An annual audit is required to renew your certification status each year. |
