Laboratory Proficiency Programmes - Assessing Your Laboratory's Performance
The Proficiency Programmes we provide are an essential and effective means of independently assessing a laboratory’s ability to competently perform tests or measurements.
Ensure Your Laboratory Complies with Regulatory and Accreditation Requirements
Participation in an Inter-laboratory Comparison Programme ensures compliance with regulatory and laboratory accreditation requirements (including ISO 17025) through:
- An External Quality Assessment (an important part of Quality Assurance).
- Regular independent comprehensive evaluation of Laboratory and individuals performance.
- Provision of information which assists in improving performance, including follow-up and clearance of alerts.
In addition, the Laboratory is able to demonstrate performance to management and customers through an independent and impartial third party.
