Interim Chief Executive Officer

I joined AsureQuality in October 2015. My previous roles have included seven years as Chief Financial Officer of DairyNZ, Finance Manager at Dexcel, various finance and accounting roles at Fonterra and L'Oréal in the United Kingdom, along with experience in the manufacturing sector. Coming from a farming background, I am passionate about New Zealand’s primary and food industries. I am an Associate Chartered Accountant of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Member of the Institute of Directors.

Group Director, Business Development & Marketing

I joined AsureQuality in October 2014, having previously worked as MD of Mondelez New Zealand (formerly Cadbury). Prior to that I spent over 20 years in general management, marketing, and sales roles in many countries across Oceania, the Indian Sub-Continent, Central America, the Caribbean, and Latin America. I hold a B.A. in Sociology and a B.Bus. in Marketing from Monash Business School in Melbourne. I am passionate about the food industry and am proud of the role that AsureQuality plays in building and protecting consumer confidence in the food we eat.

Kirsty Gray

Interim Chief Financial Officer

I joined AsureQuality in November 2004 in the role of Operations Accountant. I have since worked in various finance roles and most recently the Finance Manager position. Prior to joining AsureQuality I spent five years in London primarily working in the pharmaceutical industry, with three years at GlaxoSmithKline as a Project Accountant. I hold a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) majoring in Accounting and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Waikato University. I am a Chartered Accountant of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

General Manager, People & Culture

I joined AsureQuality in January 2017. My team supports our people to be able to do their work safely and feel satisfied that they have the ability and environment to achieve great things. I have led People & Culture teams in a number of companies, my most recent roles GM Human Resources at Oceania Healthcare Ltd, and before that NZ Bus Ltd. My previous experience has been gained in largely transportation and healthcare sectors and I am really enjoying the food sector and the quality assurance we provide to people every day. I hold a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University

Group Manager, Testing Services

I joined AsureQuality in October 2012 as Group Manager Laboratories and am responsible for our New Zealand and Singapore Laboratories and our Diagnostics Manufacturing facility in Australia. I hold a BSc (Chemistry and Geology) and a Post Grad Diploma in Business. After graduating from University, I joined Amdel Petroleum and Material Testing Services as Petroleum Geochemist and became General Manager of the Petroleum and Materials Division in 1992. In 2002 I took up the role of General Manager of Gribbles NZ- Food and Veterinary Laboratories, and in 2008 became CEO of Bureau Veritas/NZ Laboratory Services (NZLABS) until its sale in 2012.

Group Manager, Inspection & Certification

I joined AsureQuality in October 1999, and after a variety of roles I now lead the Inspection & Certification group. This includes industry sectors Food & Dairy, Plant & Seed, Livestock & Meat and Biosecurity, and the AsureQuality Academy. My career has mostly been associated with the primary sector where I have held a range of technical manager, general manager and operational management positions, working within or supporting the wider horticultural and arable farming sectors, as well as the pipfruit, crop seed and meat industries.

Chief Information Officer

I joined AsureQuality in May 2013 as Chief Information Officer. I have a passion for technology and how it can enable people to add value and take advantage of new opportunities. Previously, I spent six years at Westland Milk Products in the Information Services & Technology Manager role where I oversaw the development of its information systems capability. I have a strong people and business focus and benefit from an honors degree in psychology and an MBA from Canterbury.
