Meat Inspection - GAP Analysis

This programme is designed to refresh and assess Meat Inspector’s knowledge to ensure they are maintaining those key work skills on an on-going basis.

This programme is designed to meet clause 5(7) of the Animal products
(Export Requirement: Company Ante-mortem and Post-mortem Inspection) Notice 2013, as follows:
(7) Any person who is qualified for more than two years must be able to demonstrate a meaningful involvement in performing ante-mortem and/or post-mortem inspection over the intervening years or undergo re-qualification. The extent and nature of re-qualification training and assessment must be documented by the animal product business operator and be acceptable to the inspection agency
