Certified Seed Growers
Our team manage grower registrations and applications, allocate region of production numbers (ROP) for Certified Seed Growers nationwide. Field dressed sticky labels and the Certificate of Identification (commonly known as the Grower Declaration) are issued following successful crop inspections.
Seed Certification Information System
The Seed Certification Information System (SCIS) is an online system replacing the previous paper-based crop application and varietal certification process.
SCIS is used to:
- maintain a register of varieties eligible for certification and to manage variety production rights (VPRs)
- enter crops for certification
- track seed crops through the various stages of planting, inspection, harvest and delivery, processing and testing
- perform independent verification and Regulator (MPI) tasks
