Transport Assurance
The New Zealand Livestock Transport Assurance (NZLTA) programme aims to ensure all livestock movements are completed in a safe and efficient manner and meet the minimum requirements for Transport within the New Zealand Code of Welfare.
It is based upon existing minimum standards as currently accepted within the meat and transport industries.
The NZLTA programme covers cattle, sheep, lambs, goats and calves.
